ohdeargod. I’m bigger and hot and sweaty and need to lay down. How is it possible to feel pretty good just a few days ago and now walking down the hall is an incredible chore? I wish bob was here to lift me out of my chair. and I wish he was here to hold my belly up. Please hold my belly up when you get home bob, please.

Bob and I ran errands today. Roughly $400 later and we are stocked up on household odds and ends to get us through March.

Those errands about killed me. I felt sick and achy the rest if the day. Hello Mr. Sofa. Nice to see you again.

Next on the agenda? Double batches of chili and veggie soup to freeze and heat once butters makes his debut.

36 Weeks. Crenshaw Melon (heh?).

36wksButters continues to get geeked out today within the womb. At 18.5 inches long and 6 pounds, this kid should be well versed in PDF creation by the end of the day. Butters also has hiccups as we speak. poor kid.

Mamas the same. A bit swollen, whalesque and sleepy. But it’s all for the good of the lil butters book.

As I enter the 9th month I’m shocked to look back at how quickly it all went. It’s hilarious to me to think I was big and uncomfortable a few months ago. I had no clue what uncomfortable meant. I bet back then bob had no clue how good he had it with my snoring patterns too. Between the belly and the organs being shoved up so high, the snoring is deafening.

We talked in class last night about how after the placenta comes out your body feels empty. You’ve spent all these months preparing you body to feel so full and poof! Within a few min you start to feel like yourself again. All I know is that myself lays on my belly and I happily welcome that experience again.

Imagine if you will…

you are wearing a boulder on your chest. inside that boulder is something turning and pushing and then, all of a sudden it jams all it’s limbs, butt and head out in every direction it possibly can. I think the elbow is the least comfortable, or the head, directly in the bladder…ya. that’s fun too.

butters has made it abundantly clear that she knows how to stretch!
keep it up kiddo!

Girls weekend. I’m in Galena IL with my motherinlaw and sisterinlaw. We are just walking and shopping and eating and not having a care in the world. And anytime I come across a chair, couch or curb, I’m in it. God I love sitting.

Last night we hit it up in dubuque IA. we dined at the hottest place in town…applebees. Seriously. The place was jammed packed by the time we left. We then lived it up big time by getting in our jammies and watching say yes to the dress. We were asleep by nine. It was glorious!

Tonight we’ll be dining at fried green tomatoes and then watching the 2 hour long halloween parade with apparently 8,000 other people.
